About Us

Our Mission

The primary mission of the Office of Sponsored Scholarship and Programs is to assist university faculty, researchers, administrators and staff in identifying external funding so that they may pursue new challenges that will lead to improved scholarly research, enhanced teaching experiences and information resulting in intellectual stimulation and growth.  A secondary mission of the Office of Sponsored Scholarship and Programs is to assist the campus community by supporting the exchange of intellectual capital with external parties in the creation of new collaborative enhancements to our university's liberal arts environment.

Linkage to Univeristy Mission

To provide a superior liberal arts education for our students and community, the institution must rigorously seek external monetary support to develop and present new concepts of viewing the world. The Office of Sponsored Scholarship and Programs is the mechanism that enables the faculty and researchers to pursue scholarly investigation and course/program development while fostering undergraduate research.
